This fragrant, flavourful and (lil' bit) spicy bake camembert will genuinely warm your body and your soul.

Great as a starter, or to dip some crusty bread in on a chilly winter weekend afternoon.

You will need:

  • 1 ripe/soft 200g Kris Lloyd Artisan Brie or Camembert
  • Extra virgin Olive oil
  • Fresh Herbs
    • We recommend basil, oregano, tarragon, thyme or dill but you can use whatever you want or have handy – be creative!
  • 1 whole chilli,
  • A few cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Sea salt and cracked pepper

How to create:

Carefully the top off theBrie and stuff cheese with a generous helping of all the herbs, the chilli, crushed garlic – leaving a small amount of herbs and chilli for finishing. Season liberally.

Put the Brie lid back on and place in a ramekin dish brushed with a little olive oil.

Bake at 200c for 10 min – remove from oven carefully, finish with more fresh herbs and finely chopped chilli.

Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers – match with either red or white South Australian wine.

This is a great sharing dish which is very quick and easy to prepare, but has a lot of wow factor!
